Community involvement
in the Ottawa area has always been a touchstone
issue for Geoff & Bobbie.
Even before they became one
of Ottawa's leading real estate teams, they were
active in contributing and giving back to their
neighbourhood through charity work and sponsorships.
A partial list of their Ottawa
area community involvement includes ongoing donations
to:
- the Children's Miracle Network
- CHEO
- The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
- Canadian University of Women's Scholarship
fund
- several Minor League Hockey Teams

sponsorship of, as well as, personal participation in
Ottawa community events such as:
- the "Clean-Up Beaverbrook Day"
- the "Christmas Food Drive"
- "The Yard Sale for the Cure"
- "CHEO Fundraisers"
- "Canada Day Festivities"
Neighbours You Can Count On" is more than a slogan
to Ottawa area Realtors, Geoff & Bobbie...it is
their mission statement.
In keeping with this belief, these Kanata residents
help out their fellow neighbours through their support
of one of their favourite charities, The Kanata
Food Cupboard. Geoff & Bobbie contribute
a portion of every listing and sale of Kanata properties
to the Kanata Food Cupboard and in the past
five years they have personally donated over $30,000
directly to the Kanata Food Cupboard.
As well, every Halloween, Geoff & Bobbie host and
participate in an annual Haunted House at their own
home in support of the Kanata Food Cupboard. Last year
alone, they had over 1500 people come through the Haunted
House and raised over $3,000 in donations and food.
It not only is a worthwhile cause, but it's also alot
of fun for the entire community with many of the neighbours
and local Kanata high school students coming out to
help build props, promote, organize & act in the
yearly event.
